Shane Powers (born in Omaha, Nebraska, USA on November 28, 1970) is an American film and television actor and reality television personality. After finishing high school, Powers moved to Los Angeles. He appeared in a number of television series and videos. He also worked as a club promoter and restaurant manager. In 1999, Powers founded a marketing and branding company.[1]
He is best known for his role as Specs in the television series Roger Corman Presents Black Scorpion, as Sam in the 2002 Everett Lewis film Luster. He was also a contestant in reality television series Survivor: Panama finishing fifth after being voted out.[2] He was also considered for inclusion in Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains series, but management decided to take in Survivor: Samoa runner-up Russell Hantz instead.[3]
